DAY 1: Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest
Explore the UNESCO-listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Parks.
This tour visits Cape Tribulation within the Daintree Rainforest. Discover this World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest. Here you will learn about the history, flora and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest.
Along the way, visit Mossman Gorge and enjoy a Daintree River cruise. Crossing the Daintree River, which takes you across the river into the heart of the “Wet Tropics Rainforest” is a must.
DAY 2: Great Barrier Reef
This local family-owned and operated tour is the best way to see the Great Barrier Reef.
While snorkelling on the outer Reef, you will see abundant brightly coloured marine life and corals. During your time on the Reef, you can see parrotfish, turtles and clownfish.
Try scuba diving
You can try scuba diving if you are fit, healthy, and over 12 years old. With a quick lesson, we will have you breathing underwater in no time.
Scuba diving lets you see the Reef like a fish. It is easy and fun. Under the water, there are swim-through caves and ledges to explore.
Today, you will be welcomed onboard Reef Experience. This tour is Cairns’ only ALL-inclusive Great Barrier Reef Cruise.

If you are not confident in the water
Undoubtedly, the best place to see the Reef is in the water. This crew will assist you in seeing the best of the Reef even if you can not swim.
DAY 3: Atherton Tablelands and Paronella Park
Explore the magnificent World Heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest on this boutique tour through the Atherton Tablelands. In air-conditioned comfort, you’ll visit iconic waterfalls and natural wonders, including the popular Millaa Millaa Falls, where you can swim and capture the perfect photo amid stunning rainforests. The tour culminates at Paronella Park, Queensland’s top must-see attraction, where you’ll learn about its fascinating history, explore fairy-like gardens, and marvel at the hand-built Spanish Castle and its hydroelectric system. The day includes stops at Lake Barrine Crater National Park, Curtain Fig Tree, an a la carte lunch, and potentially a swim at Babinda Boulders, with pickups between 7:15 am and 7:45 am from Cairns accommodations.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Cape Tribulation Itinerary
- 06:45 – Hotel Pickups commence
- 09:50 – Daintree River Cruise for 1 hour, fantastic for spotting crocodiles and other wildlife.
- Alexandra Lookout for a photo stop of the spectacular view of Daintree River, Snapper Island and the Coral Sea
- 12:15 – Tropical BBQ Lunch
- Cape Tribulation for a walk on this world-renowned rainforest beach where the rainforest meetings the reef
- 15:15 – Mossman Gorge Centre where you will visit the Gateway centre. Enjoy an Indigenous presentation by the local Kuku Yalanji people during this visit. Then have the opportunity to walk in the rainforest along Mossman Gorge with your guide.
- 18:30 – hotel drop off
DAY 2: Great Barrier Reef Itinerary
- 07:30 – Board Reef Experience vessel at the Marlin Jetty, Cairns
- 08:00 – Departure Marlin Jetty for the trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef
- 08:30 – BBQ Bacon and Egg Rolls
- 8:40 – Next, a detailed scuba diving and snorkelling briefing.
- Along the way, there will also be a marine biologist presentation.
- 09:30 – Arrive at our first spectacular reef site, snorkel and dive with thousands of vivid tropical fish, giant clams, plus more
- 12:30 – Lunch
- 13:00 – Cruise to our second location to explore forests of coral, large sea fans and black coral trees in its shallow lagoons
- 15:00 – Depart the Great Barrier Reef
- 15:30 – Glass of wine, tropical fruits, cheese and biscuits
- 16:30 – Arrive back in Cairns
DAY 3: Forest, falls and Paronella Park Itinerary
- The pickup is between 7.15 am – 7.45 am
We arrive back in Cairns City between 6:00 – 6:30 pm. - Departure from Cairns to travel the Gillies Highway climbing 730 metres above sea level into the amazing Atherton Tablelands.
- Visit Beautiful Lake Barrine Crater Lake National Park
- Travel through great beef, dairy, sugar cane and other diverse farming areas and small villages.
- The next stop is The Curtain Fig Tree, a fantastic feat of nature reaching 45+ metres up into the tropical rainforest canopy.
Plenty of time for photographs of the 600-800-year-old epiphyte. - Millaa Millaa Falls – shower under the waterfall and swim
- Next, enjoy a delicious a la carte lunch.
- Paronella Park is the next destination with a 45 minute guided tour.
- Then visit Babinda Boulders in the Wooroonooran National Park.
- Babinda Boulders walk and a refreshing swim.
- After that, drop off to accommodation.

Important Information
Cape Tribulation Adventure
This Cape Tribulation tour operates with a GPS activated Audio Commentary system. This system is completely portable and wireless and is GPS triggered.
You can bring along your headsets or purchase some on the day at an extra cost.
Languages include Japanese, German, French, Italian, Chinese and Spanish.
Important Information for Scuba Diving
We have a passion for showing you Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, so please make sure you understand the scuba diving laws.
Queensland, Australia, has the strictest scuba diving rules globally and the safest scuba diving record.
The Queensland Government Code of Practice regulates us and comply with all rules, including medical as is the law.
Flying after Scuba Diving
For a single no-decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours after a scuba dive.
You should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive for multiple dives.
If Skydiving or Hot Air Ballooning, you must wait 24 hours after your dive.
We recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours whenever possible.
To avoid disappointment on your day of travel, we strongly recommend that all of our passengers complete our dive medical questionnaire.
Some medical conditions, age and medications may prevent you from scuba diving.
